Your email list can be your business's most valuable asset. But it's only worth something if you actually email your contacts!

Businesses are bought and sold based on the size and quality of their email list.

Despite this, 9 out of 10 times I talk to a doctor who is stuck in their business, I learn they don’t have an email list. And those who do, more often than not, don’t email their contacts!!

Here are three reasons why you should start an email list TODAY:

    1. It’s a business asset

Robert Kiyosaki defines an asset as something you own that puts money in your pocket every month.

Your email list has this ability. Use it to nurture your subscribers, convert them into patients, or sell them products or services. Also, as your email list grows, so does its value in case you ever sell your business.

    2. Your reach is not capped

I know doctors with tens of thousands of followers on social media, who only get hundreds of views when they post…

With an email list, you write your email, hit send and every single person in that list (as long as they have not opted out) will get a copy.

    3. Your house, your rules.

As long as you stay congruent with your audience and the content they signed up to your list for, you can discuss any topic, in your own way, without fearing for the woke army to come and cancel you.

Are you like the hundreds of docs I’ve spoken to who agree with the need for an email list but don’t know where to start? Reach out to me on Twitter or LinkedIn and I can point you in the right direction.
