    Besides a practicing physician, I have been an online entrepreneur for a long time.

    Over the years, I have learned most physicians who want to do the same end up failing because they don’t develop the skills an online business requires. They think their clinical skills –which they want to monetize– are all that’s needed, and never realize lack of competency in the online space is what’s actually holding them back. To be honest, it took me quite a while to learn this lesson too.

    Here are some of the other reasons I’ve learned physicians fail when starting an online business:

    • Reason #1: They go straight to high-ticket offers
    • Reason #2: They don’t niche down enough
    • Reason #3: They expect it to be easy

    Overcoming failure is a crucial part of succeeding, moving forward, and making actionable progress.
