unpopular opinion about why the 9-5 doesn’t work for highly-skilled experts

Yesterday I told you why I almost deleted this entire email list.

But I didn’t tell you why I’m back.

The truth is…

I’m more passionate than ever about helping true experts monetize their expertise and build a business around a lifestyle of their design.

Why?

Because…

Trying to fit the life you dream of around the time left by your business (or job!) isn’t working.

Worst of all…it is the reason why burnout is so prevalent amongst doctors and many other highly-skilled professionals..

And the sad thing is…

Most experts –even those doing well professionally– want more from life..

But they end up just going through the motions…

Playing it safe. Working towards the next promotion in hopes of things finally going their way…

The good news is: it doesn’t have to be like this.

You can design a business that fits around your desired lifestyle, instead of trying to fit your lifestyle around your job.

You can “do business” in a way that works for your lifestyle.

You can abandon the outdated model of working 9-5 and design your own model instead.

This is the work I’ve been doing with my private clients over the past 6 years. (even while I took a bit of an email hiatus)

But there are only so many hours in a day and I can’t personally work with everyone!

So I’m regularly sending emails again – to get this info into the hands of more experts!

I’ll be writing about the mindset shifts, the challenges to expect, and doing business differently.
